The Project Assistant is responsible to support project coordinators and project managers with project activities, project schedules and budgetary constraints for successful project completion.
• Assisting with tasks related to multiple programs.
• Compile or provide input for project status reports.
• Prepare project presentations
Organize project data
Setup project meetings
Stay abreast of the project activities in an effort to conduct and document meetings as required.
• Work with Project Manager to identify and resolve project problems (scheduling issues, resource issues, etc.).
• Support proposal related task and analysis as required.
Support Configuration Management activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience with Army aviation platforms and systems is highly desirable. Experience in material management and configuration management activities preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent from an accredited college or university is required. This position requires 0-3 years of work experience.
Applicants must currently hold or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance at the secret level.
Work is performed primarily in an office or lab environment with adequate environmental (heating/cooling) control. The noise level in the work environment will be moderate due to noises associated with computer equipment, equipment racks, and environmental control systems. For some efforts, tactical equipment will be operated outdoors in field conditions to include weather extremes and on tactical generator power. Offsite work is performed primarily at Government locations in climate-controlled facilities but will occasionally require installation, inspection and setup of equipment outdoors.
